the works of yseulte trevelyn

"the dancing is sweetest when danced on the edge of a sword"

Yseulte is a very musically-oriented poet in that she recognizes the natural cadence of language and is keen to manipulate it as necessary (in the most positive sense). She knows when to use specific phrases and terms that will generate the needed response of her audience to transition from one image (and its accompanying emotions and significances) to the next; as a result, her works are accessible and easy to follow without being formulaic - rather, the reader's mind is maneuvered through her intended narrative so smoothly that it is difficult to read only part of a given work!
